- Cacti (Novato) – Consistently good food and service. One of the better(if not the best) Novato restaurants. On Grant Ave (corner of 2nd)
- Blu (Petaluma) - Good Burger and salad place in the Theater Square across from the movie theater.
- Café Giostra (Petaluma) – Great Italian food. Small restaurant with good quality food. Not greatest location (next to Orchard Supply Hardware), but food and service make up for it.
- Cattlemans (Petaluma) – I do not think Cattlemans is quite what it used to be. Last couple times there the food has just been O.K. and it is not cheap..
- Central Market (Petaluma) – One of our favorite spots. Always good fresh food. Fun to watch chef at work. Right down in central Petaluma (Petaluma Blvd and Western.
- City Limits (Petaluma) - Located in the 101 Casino in North Petaluma. Good, affordable food. Good steak and seafood.
- Della Fattoria (Petaluma) – A new, small place. Special in fresh breads. Serve lunch and dinners on Fridays. Great, different breakfast. Last time there I had the Ham and Cheese Omelet bread pudding…Wow!! Carol had the “best oatmeal”…Across the street from my favorite store, Jungle Vibes.
- Dempseys (Petaluma) – Along the river. Great place to sit outside when weather is nice. Good casual food and a great selection of beers..
- Graffiti (Petaluma) – The new big restaurant in town. We have been there once and it was pretty good. A little expensive for a Petaluma restaurant but seems to keep packing em in.
- Grazianos (Petaluma) – A long time Petaluma favorite. That said our last experience was bad food and service wise. Will have to try again sometime, but that experience is lingering.
- Grazie Café (Novato) – Great salads and pastas. Casual downtown dining.
- Hallies(Petaluma) – My favorite Breakfast/Lunch place in Petaluma. Fresh food with some different variations on some things. Can sit at the counter or in a boot. Good service . I like the Latin Scramble for desert and will usually have the Chicken Quesadilla or their tacos for lunch…
- Heavent Scent Café (Petaluma) – Another good lunch spot by Blockbuster on Lakeville. Like eating at someone’s home. They do their own baking and the sandwiches are very tasty..
- Hill Top Café (Novato) – Great location. Food has always been good. I was a dishwasher there when I was in high school…
- Hiros (Petaluma) - fairly new Japanese restaurant on Petaluma Blvd. Excellent food. Seems expensive but we were very full for less than $50...
- Kabuki (Petaluma) – Japanese food next to McNears. Good food and not too expensive.
- Kitchen (Novato) – Newer Novato restaurant. Been there a couple times. Food is very good as is the service.
- Semollina (Petaluma) – Good Italian restaurant in the old A & W location. Two guys from Café Giostra and Marin Joes came together to start this and you can see both reflected here.
- Skullys (Novato) – Great bakery. Different lunches everyday.
- Sooze (Petaluma) – Very small restaurant at “The Mill”. Great wine selection and good quality food. Near the new Theater.
- Sugo (Petaluma) – One of our favorite casual dinner places. Great salads and pasta dishes. I really like the Gnocchi and Carol really likes the Spinach salad.
- Tommy’s Salsa (Novato) – Terrific Spanish food. Like to go in and order the Special no matter what it is.
- Tres Hombres (Petaluma) - Another one in Theater square. Long bar and pretty good food.
- Uruapan(Petaluma) – Small Mexican restaurant on West side on Bodega Ave. Good for pickup or sitting and having a casual dinner.
- Wild Fox (Novato) – Good location. Food is ahhhite…
