Hi and welcome to the Podcast section of my website. A Podcast is basically a way of a private party to large commercial ventures having an equal opportunity in providing a small radio program accessible via the Internet. One special thing about a Podcast is that you can subscribe to them. When a new one comes out it will be downloaded for you.

Itunes (Apple) has recently entered this arena. If you have Itunes, you can go to the Podcast section and subscribe to a specific Podcast. Itunes will go and check on updates based on the parameters you give it. I have subscribed to Ebert and Roeper for movie reviews as well as Al Franken, Harry Shearer, and Dr Rubin. When I startup Itunes, it automatically checks for updated casts. If you go to Itunes, a search in the Podcast section using "Jupe", should get you to my casts. There are other services, such as Ipodder that allow you to subscribe to podcasts. Of course, you can just come back here and click on the below link to get the most recent Podcast.

The name "Podcast" comes from the idea that you can get these shows, put them on your Ipod or other MP3 player and listen when you wish. I usually listen right off the desktop.

I am new to this, so please feel free to give me any feedback you wish, even if it is "please, no more Podcasts".

Click on the here or below to go to the Podcast Blog. The current cast as well as any previous will be there. When you see the Podcast you want, click on the "Pod" graphic to start it up. If you wish to download for later, right click on the graphic and select "save target as"...Pretty simple...Hope you enjoy......
